"I know love has changed... but something's strange." He said as my eyes watered and he connected his forehead to mine. He took another deep breath and grabbed both of my hands. He has no idea. Chris and April were sixteen, but they were already deeply in love. One day April has to move to California, and Chris is forced to stay in Virginia. They are loyal to each other for two more years until Chris turns eighteen, and then he sneaks out and flies to California to see her. But when he gets there, something is wrong. Terribly wrong.
