Passport? Check. A book of maps of every country in the world? Check. Backpack and small suitcase that contains everything I possess? Check. The world best, international traveling, treasure hunting dad and the most awesome stepmom who is more like my best friend? Check. And new, totally gorgeous English intern of my father's who's tagging along on our next adventure? Double check. Call me, Callie Landon, nerdy and I'd have to totally agree. I mean, how could I not be nerdy when I graduated high school at thirteen and double majored in college and got my bachelor's in both history and international studies by sixteen? Again, just call me nerdy. But I loved my life of travel. I got to see the world with my dad and stepmom, searching for treasure that was thought to be lost for hundreds of years...until we found it, of course. And now we were going on an expedition to find one of the most sought after treasures: the hidden treasure of the infamous pirate Blackbeard. With the three of us, plus Max Knight, my dad's new intern, we were sure we would be able to find it with the help of some clues along the way. But then there are always those other people who just happen to think that they can find it before you and are willing to do anything to stop you. Oh, that's always fun. But then again, it's always fun in the world of treasure hunting. (Book 1 in the My Life Series)

Three years ago, the bodies of eighty four scientists were found in a facility not far off the shore of California. Brutal mauling was confirmed. The animals they kept escaped and killed every human slowly, and then disappeared. Shock took over, but as usual, the world moved on ... And then three years passed. I was mauled to death by my own dog, Shark, while out on a walk. The event would trigger a wave of more events, I eventually learned. My instinct told me to run, run somewhere and lay low. I had no idea that I would run across others like me, I had no idea that these people were going to ask so much of me. I had no idea that I would soon be the one who started the uprising. {Mature for: • Language • Violence } [not dystopian. this is set in modern times.]

A year after her best friend committed suicide without warning, Rosalie Hayes was still tumbling down a toxic downward spiral that, as far as anyone could tell, didn't seem to have a bottom. The simple girl she had once been was a mere memory, shredded to pieces and buried alongside her best friend, and in its place was a girl who took refuge in absolutely anything she could to distract herself from the gaping hole her best friend had left inside her and dull the pain that haunted her every move. Death came like a thief, stealing Rosalie's life and sending it up in flames before letting out her demons lurking inside. Until a boy with a reputation just as infamous and a track record to match takes interest in the silently broken girl. And together, the two might find that grief doesn't have to completely destroy you if you only have someone to share it with. TRIGGER WARNING: As stated above, this story does deal with suicide and grief. COVER CREDIT: @urharry

"I would describe myself as dangerous, but not in a criminal way." Cassidy Jones is not the type of person you would assume was rich at first glance. She is the epitome of someone with a big heart and considers every outcast a friend. At Desden High School, history is re-written as she defends not only herself, but fights for what is right and shuns the wrong. Forget a girl who is afraid of spiders or flying cockroaches, because this girl can even handle a boy ten times her size. Cassidy's tendency to be protective is exactly what gets her in trouble with the principal when he catches her fighting the most popular group in school, and they are all sentenced to be disciplined together. So, to make the best out of this horrible punishment, she decides to teach those populars a lesson, and that is that you should never judge a book by its cover. This is what it's like being Cassidy.
