I have been reading these lately and I love them. I wanted to make my own because I had some ideas. Some things may be a little off since I haven't read every book, but I will so bear with me.

My theory is that when a vampire meets their soulmate they gain better control of the wind like how he struggled to land at the beginning but towards the end his control was perfect) Nova Bright stopped believing in soulmates a long time ago. She still draws on her skin, but only in secret, convinced her true match is someone far away, someone she'll never meet. Victor Alden has spent years quietly carrying the artwork of someone he doesn't know. Beautiful drawings appear on his skin, proof of a soulmate he's never found, but he's too afraid to answer back. As fate brings them closer together the council try's to tear them apart worried their to powerful. And when their paths finally collide, everything they thought they knew about love, magic, and themselves will be tested.

This story takes place 6 months after zombies 4 happens and goes through things that Nova has secretly been going through and her and Victor haven't spoke to each other in months. After they bump into each-other at the beach, Victor realises that she's hiding stuff from him and that's why he hasn't spoke to her in ages and when they accidentally switch phones, he finds that out. There is also my own characters in this story such as Nova's little sisters and also best friends. This story contains things such as Abuse, Self-harm, Swearing and possibly other things aswell so take that as a warning. Hope you enjoy!
