April 13th, 2013. I remember it like it was just yesterday. Although only months have past, nothing is the same. It's amazing how much things can change in such a short amount of time. At the time, I didn't have the slightest clue or even the thought that things would go so wrong; not even close. I was in love; but maybe that's what got me here in the first place. When you're in love, you tend to block out the bad and only see the good in a person. And you trust. You trust so deeply that you almost always set yourself up to be hurt. And, unless that person cares for you as purely and wholesomely as you love them, it's only a matter of time before everything begins to unravel, possibly only a few months. I was young and naive; but these few months have aged me. Anyone can say the words 'I do'. But, it takes a man to mean it. And now I realize, he was not a man of any honor; I married a monster.
