Rachel Grace Olsen was a normal girl. She wasn't popular, but she wasn't a loner either. She was somewhere in the middle ground. Rachel was average, average social life, average town, even average grades. Well, kinda average grades. The only thing she was decent at was music, sadly no one she knew shared this passion. That is until her parents bought a summer home up on the beaches of Maine. Jason Nicolas Ryder was NOT a normal guy. He smokes, has way too many siblings, and does things that some people might consider "illegal". Does that make him a bad person? Jase thinks so, and he's learned to live with it. This summer was going to be normal, beat up some annoying people, play some guitar, it was gonna be fine. That is until his new neighbors decided to stay right next door all summer long. Little did he know the cute, feisty girl next door shared his passion for music. This is the story of a girl's "supposed to be" average summer that turns into a story of love, hate, and really good music. ~complete~ Charlotte is as sweet as a strawberry. She's the kind of person who will drop everything just to help you, just to put a smile on your face. She's as sweet as the sugar that constantly runs through her bloodstream, and as excitable as the rush that comes with it. And then there's Benjamin, who's as sour as a lemon. The last thing on this Godforsaken planet he wants to do is acquaint himself with her. While Charlotte is kind and caring, he's rude and vulgar, while she's friendly and innocent, he's crass and mean. So how in the hell is that going to turn out?

The only reason he's helping her anyways is because she's holding something over his head. It's not because he cares about her.

~complete~ There comes a time when everything is just too much to handle by yourself. *apparently this story is kinda like the manga Kaichou wa Maid-sama in the first couple of chapters? I haven't read that before, so I'm sorry about that! I assure you, the rest of it has nothing to do with maids, or any other mangas hopefully lmao*
