That night the stars looked different. Aurora, who is left all alone - as usual - is, after making one, gifted a wish from a star, or perhaps many. And it literally crash lands into the forest beyond her tiny, isolated trailer. She goes out, and is unsure if she can handle what this star has given her. Or if the very star itself will live at all. It was her fault she wished him home. She shouldn't have done it. But what's said, is said. ★ [In memory of David Bowie]

Starting immediately after it's predecessor, Daring Dixon, Floating is the continued story of Rosaline and Daryl; in a different point of view. After taking a terrible tumble down the stairs, Rosaline is left battered and bruised, but ultimately, alive. She is rescued by a friend she thought to be dead, which leads her to meet a very powerful man whom she knows will provide her protection, food, and could also lead to her finding Daryl again. Daryl blames himself for 'killing' Rosaline, and wants to forget everything that ever happened. But with Rick and the others to answer to, he must relive his regrets and explain just what happened. He becomes withdrawn, keeping his distance from others, even his own brother, Merle. It isn't until the unexpected happens that Daryl finally becomes himself again; even if not for long.

~BOOK 1 OF THE BRENDON URIE/ PANIC! AT THE DISCO TRILOGY~ As the sister of Ryan Ross, the guitarist of the famous pop punk band Panic! At The Disco from Las Vagas Nevada, Hannah Ross had everything but the life you'd expect her to have. Sure there was the happiness and music from her talented brother to keep her occupied. But she didn't grow up with the greatest childhood, of which she covered up those internal scars with the help of her brother and as she would come to realize, her closest friends. That was until something changed. The world around her had stopped when Ryan did something she never thought he would ever do. Which left Hannah wondering if she would ever see her friends again. If she would ever get a chance to tell the one and only Brendon Urie how she felt. (both as a friend and her hope of something more) Even then, will there something else in the way of Hannah doing that? Would she have to take measures into her own hands, or leave it be?
