"Watch where you’re going nerd!" Someone said knocking me down, while sending my books flying. I let out a sigh as I crouched down, collecting my books from the floor. Once I got up I saw the person who called me nerd a few seconds ago was standing in front of me wearing a smug expression. "What's wrong nerd? Cat got your tongue?" I looked around the hallway, noticing that we’ve drawn a crowd. "What are you mute?" I rolled my eyes as I began to walk away, only to be pulled back and slammed against the lockers. I heard a few gasps coming from our audience. He seemed like a jerk, and judging by what he had just done, I was right. However, he was extremely good looking I had to give him that, with dark brown hair seemed sticking out in all directions and dark brown eyes. "Listen nerd, I don't know who you think you are but no one walks away from me when I talk to them. Got it?" He hissed at me. I let out a chuckle. This guy was unbelievable. "You don't own me, so I suggest you let go of me before I do something that you will regret." I said in a bored tone. His brown eyes narrowed at me, as he let out what seems to be a forced out laugh. "Oh, so the nerd does talk." I heard a few people snickering as he let go of my arm. "I am going to let you go, nerd. But, trust me this isn't over." To me, Peter Pan always seemed like he can get any girl's interest. After meeting him for the first time, I have decided that my fate didn't belong to him. Peter, untainted by my rejection, took it as a challenge. A game, if you prefer. 10 days for me to fall in love with him which meant 10 days for him to prove himself to me. If I didn't reveal any feelings towards him by then, I was granted access off the island. But if I caved in to him, I, Amber Hawthorne, would never leave Neverland ever again. One problem, everyone knows that Peter Pan never fails. {FINISHED, BUT EDITING}

He lit his cigarette, I lit nothing. He drank alcohol, I drank water. He smirked, I smiled. He didn't love me, I didn't love him. He and I together wouldn't last a day. And then the game started... He said he found me intriguing, unique, and interesting because I didn't swoon over him. "You and me Grey, let's play a game. We'll date and in three months time I promise you will fall for me. When you fall in love with me between that time span, I win. If in any way you were to win I'll give up all the alcohol, cigarettes, and player ways." It was a game I wasn't willing to lose, but all games had accidents and consequences. It takes a broken heart to know how to break a heart.

"Because you've forgotten what it's like to actually feel something." I whispered. Peter's expression softened and the only sounds between us were the steady unsynchronized breaths falling from our lips. He swallowed, the closeness of our bodies making my heart beat faster and adrenaline course through me. The feeling was neither pleasant nor unpleasant as I looked into his forest green eyes. "How can you make me feel so belittled with only words?" his troubled voice fell into a whisper and he gripped my shoulders. "Is it your goal to stand before me and pull me apart until I am nothing?"

Senior year finally arrived, and you couldn't wait to leave as soon as the year finishes. Sure you'll miss the school dramas, blossoming friendships, since it made your experience rather interesting. But what made it more of a fun experience, was the arrival of the new kid, Robbie Kay. His attitude screamed egotistical, his appearance was sex, and his behavior danger. He wasn't your average teenager, he'd rather enjoy drowning himself in parties, and screwing every girl he sees in the locker room. And you happened to be his next target. Will you play hard, or surrender? update july 11, 2021: on the note that i've written this years ago, i apologize for the ignorance i had whilst producing this poor excuse of a fanfic. being exposed to the internet at a young age, i hadn't realized the effect i had with sharing my works online, as i wrote this purely for fun. i take full responsibility for the awful things i may have said/written and will continue to move forward to grow as a person. i thank those constructive (and albeit humorous) commentary that i still see from my old email, and thank you for pointing out the flaws from the past. y/n has been normalized to become such a flat character, and i applaud our generation for noticing this. so thank you, and i will continue to carry out the things you have all taught me today. <3
