Each branches told a different story. I chose to write you a fanfic based on the original plot of the movie, but following a theory I built on my own : Rumi heard Gwi-Ma's voice since the Golden release. As he continued to look down at his patterns, his words were sincere: "These are a constant reminder of my shame. And... so was she." Rumi perks up curiously, keeping quiet so that he can continue. His face was pained, but Jinu quickly found the will to mention you, "I... had a lover." You feel your body grow rigid as you await his next words. Was this also going to be a made-up version of the truth? "She was the light in my darkness." Jinu smiled sadly, remembering your wide grin that was only for him. "When she spoke, the words of Gwi-ma were silenced. When she embraced me, the itch of my patterns went away. When she kissed me, I felt human again." ˋˏ-༻❁༺-ˎˊ "Gwi-ma sent you to watch me?!" this is a au of kpop demon hunters where huntrix successfully got the golden honmoon and they now are friends with the saja boys(yes the saja boys were in the mortal world when the girls closed it deal with it)

This fic captures the aftermath of creating the new Honmoon and 'defeating' Gwi-Ma. Rumi has started opening up and expressing her patterns while also trying to fully accept them after shunning them, and ultimately herself, for so long, which may or may not have backfired on her immensely.
