❝I- what? What are you talking about? Who is this?❞ ❝Well the bathroom stall says that this number is the gateway to a good time, and unless you're trying to say that a bathroom stall is lying to me, I think I need a little more information to be sold. There was little known about Pierce Holmes. Even his closest friends at Hogwarts knew little about him and that's the way he wanted to keep it. The known facts about the Ravenclaw's home life was his mother was a writer and his father wasn't in the picture much. While his father didn't play a big role in his life, Pierce refused to keep his mother's maiden name. While his home life seemed dysfunctional, Pierce was a rather happy student at Hogwarts. He enjoyed his classes and was friendly to other students. One student in particular caught his eye from the beginning, but not for her looks, but her intelligence. He admired Hermione Granger, because she wasn't afraid to be smart unlike some girls he came across in school, who enjoyed pretending they were scatterbrained. He's thought about the conversations he would like to have with her, but can't bring himself to talk to her. But all that changes when fourth year arrives and the Tri-Wizard Tournament comes to Hogwarts. Pierce finds himself with no choice but to talk to the Gryffindor girl. However, things don't go according to plan, especially when Sherlock Holmes is involved in the scenario.

In a world of soulmates, most people have a single person they're destined to. But what if someone has three names written on their wrist? Some say three is a crowd, but what about four? The child genius. The anime fanatic. The famous actor. The awkward dork. The question isn't: will they work out? No, soulmates are destined to work. The question then becomes: how will they fit each other's quirks into a stable and loving relationship? *The characters and story is completely mine and I would greatly appreciate if you didn't steal it. As a young girl my mother told me the legends of how the “soul marks” began. No one knows for sure, but one thing everyone likes to do is make stories about it. My mother’s version included an angel. In her story the angel who gave an old woman one wish because of a sacrifice she made for the greater good. You would have thought this old woman would ask for peace in her final years, or for her husband, who has long passed, to come back and live out her final days, or for her even to join him. In fact those guesses were all wrong. The old woman’s pride and joy was in the fact that her life was spent with her soulmate. She knew how he had helped her anytime evil tried to sway her to do wrong. So, the old woman wished that there was a way in which every human, good or evil, would find their one true love. The angel did as the woman wished and made it known that the markings that would develop on everyone’s arms would match those of one other human, helping them find their mate.

Juliette - or Julie, as she prefers to be called - has been going to Beauxbatons for four years until the 'incident'. Her twin sister Olive however, had gone to Hogwarts all that time. After Julie got expelled, her parents sent her to Hogwarts, not forgetting to mention the 'incident' to Professor McGonagall so she could keep an eye on her. *** "Come on, Julie! I want to introduce you to my friends!" Olive pulled her sister with her, running to platforms Nine and Ten at King's Cross station. "You'll love them!" she exclaimed, and Juliette followed her, laughing. The two stopped for a moment to wait for their parents who had the trolley with their trunks. Juliette looked around. "It's weird for me to go to an English school now, I'm very much used to Beauxbatons." she said, and Olive nodded. "You'll be fine, you're going to love it." she said. "Are mum and dad coming?" she asked, jumping slightly, drumming with her fingers on her legs. Although Juliette and Olive were twins, they looked nothing alike. Olive had light-brown straight hair that hung around her face, if she wasn't wearing it in a ponytail, which she did often. Her eyes were a bright blue, and she was very energetic. Juliette was far more calm, and had dark brown hair that had started to become wavy. She had brown eyes which had a slight dark circle around them, which her best friend, who was still in Beauxbatons, found 'stupéfiant'. Julie smiled as her parents finally reached the platform too, and then followed her sister to the barrier. A group of witches and wizards ran through it, and Olive followed them. Julie's dad placed his hand on her shoulder. "Come on, Juliette, let's go." he said, before handing her her trolley. Juliette nodded. She took a deep breath, and then broke into a run, pushing the trolley in front of her. She closed her eyes and waited for the crash that never came.

I just smirked at the way they all looked down on me. The way they all try to trip me down and glare like they can kill me with one look. I could easily laugh their stupidity and small minds as I make it through the day the way I've always done it. By myself. With no friends. No family. I don't cry myself to sleep hoping that my prince will come and save me... I don't beg those dimwitted jocks to stop giving me a hard time whenever they get the chance. I don't try to fit in when the person I'll hurt the most is myself by lying. I don't wish that my dead parents will come back when I know they won't. I don't do this because I, Carter Summers, am a strong willed person that knows the sad fact that this.... This... is my reality..... When Carter gets a small request from a teacher for his creative way of writing. He temporarily joins the newspaper club to gain extra credit to assure his scholarship. His job is to answer questions from the entire Newton High's students and give them advice. Like any other teenager, I wanted a damn break from school. Well, a murder on campus gave me that break. Sadly (for me, mostly) the murder had to do with my new... "friend": a homicidal, obsessive, cunning, and possessive stalker with an irritating sense of humor. How did I stumble onto the stalker of all stalkers? no. damn. clue. What I do know is that they text me obsessively, kill people around me, and threaten my friends and family if I throw away my phone or tell the cops. Well, they cover the categories of insane, murderous, and annoying, so I'm already screwed. But that doesn't mean I'm going down without a fight.
