Hope Mikaelson. Thats the name she was given at birth. But, it's not the name she goes by now. The Mikaelson's got Bonnie Bennet to put a spell on Hope so that their enemies couldn't find her, as she goes off with Rebekah, safe from the enemies that want to harm her. Little do they know, Bonnie Bennets plan. She knew that this innocent baby shouldn't grow up surrounded by these killers. So she does the spell, but instead of giving her back to them, she takes her away. She give the baby to none other than Damon and Elena Salvatore. She knows that they will be able to keep her safe, and at the time, they didn't have any kids. They made a deal with Bonnie. They wouldn't tell Hope about her being adopted, or anyone for that matter, and would raise her. Of course, the Mikaelsons where pissed when they found out about this.
