This piece was originally two separate poems, Fed to the Lions, and Freak Show. These were originally written in April of 2011. I have revised and somewhat spliced the two together. Special thanks to all the assholes that inspired this piece by making me hate myself for being myself.

Life as a Modern-Day Dragon Lady

A brief introduction: I am a 6"3 woman, and it was incredibly difficult to grow up bigger than everyone else. We all know how cruel children can be. This piece was inspired by the she-dragon from Shrek. I was watching the children's movie and started comparing myself to her. And then this poem was born.
