What if James and Lily potter came back to life after Voldemort came back? Read along as I attempt to answer this question in my first fanfiction!

This is my version of the story of Lily and James Potter. They both sacrificed the selfs to save there child Harry Potter, who defeated Voldemort, but before Lily and James die in each other's heart, they have an interesting love story. Read as Lily and James fall in love. There will be love, hate, new friendships born, old ones destroyed and drama. How did Lily and James finally get together?

When Lily and James Potter wake up on a frosty night in Godrics hollow, they don't think anything has changed. Little do they know that they've missed out on a little more than they expected... --- Follow James and Lily on their adventure to catch up with time again, through grief and joy, and maybe... So how did the famous James and Lily Potter get together? This story is officially back from a 6 year hiatus! The first part, told from Lily's point of view, tells the story of Lily and James falling in love at Hogwarts and beginning their legendary relationship. The second part, told from a third person point of view, tells the story of James and Lily becoming members of the Order of the Phoenix, fighting alongside their friends, and beginning their lives together post-Hogwarts.

What happens when James Potter, father of Harry Potter, has miraculously returned from the dead? When James Potter turns up in the wrecked house that he was killed in fifteen years ago, apparently alive and devastated at Lily's and "Harry's" deaths he winds up being found by none other that Albus Dumbledore, who is baffled at the sudden appearance of a dead man. Harry is in his fifth year at Hogwarts. Harry, is now dealing with the traumas of his past, a new DADA(defense against the dark arts) teacher and on top of it all, being publicly accused of lying about Voldemort. How will he now deal with his father's return on top of it all? Will he be distant and cold not wanting to believe that it's actually him or will he be warm and happy after finding out. Please enjoy this adventure with Harry, Ron, Hermione, James and the many other wonderful characters that J.K. Rowling has created and shared with us. This will go to the end of the seventh book! James and Lily didn't die. They went to an all adults gathering when Voldemort attacked. Dumbledore took Harry away from them after he defeated Voldemort and told the couple that their son perished with the Dark Lord and Harry was left with the Dursleys, growing up knowing that his parents died in a car crash. What will happen when he gets his Hogwarts letter? Will fate try and reunite this broken family? Or will Dumbledore try and break them up for 'the greater good'?

“In that case...” James clutched a hand to his heart and gave Lily his saddest look, as though wounded by her words. “Ah, how could you, Evans? I thought you loved me.” He wiped away a fake tear. Lily snorted. “Keep dreaming, Potter.” “Dreams do come true, you know,” James smirked. The class snickered. Behind him, Remus mouthed at him ‘Smooth.’ Peter laughed. James just winked at Lily who stuck her tongue out at him. Flitwick cleared his throat. “Ah yes, very good Mr Potter. But as amusing it is I would take it kindly if you and Miss Evans did not flirt in my class while I am trying to teach.” Lily blushed. “We weren’t flirting!” she cried indignantly.
