❝Someday, I will leave and never come back.❞ ❅ Daniella Evans plans on spending her summer holiday in complete and utter peace; and by peace, she clearly means lazing around while gaining inordinate amounts of weight in the very process. Her plan fails miserably as her parents announce that they'd planned a surprise trip to Australia, and since Daniella nurtured a hobby of taking photographs of whatever comes to view, she was clearly ecstatic. With countless trips to amusement parks, bonfires, numerous confessions, spontaneous kisses, and unveiled secrets, Daniella definitely didn't expect her summer holiday to turn out like this. And she definitely didn't expect to develop feelings for Christopher Stone; a cold, ruthless boy. But what happens when Daniella leaves? After all, time is their most limited commodity. One thing's for certain, though: life always gets in the way. 111 in teen fiction 12/3/2016 cover by @devoursheabooks

"You're Alice, right?" Rolling her eyes, a smile stretched across her face, one that was equal parts sarcastic as it was mocking. She was already bored of his presence. "It's Alex." She tilted her head to the side and innocently blinked up at him. "Isn't his Highness supposed to know everyone?" His smile mirrored hers. It was obvious he was expecting to be welcomed in a similar fashion. "My sincerest apologies. I've just been too damn busy I guess." A knowing glint appeared in her eyes. "Oh I know exactly what you've been busy with; business as usual." She smirked. "At least you've finally found something you're good at." He chuckled. A humourless laugh. His head tilted back, a certain look in his eyes. "You don't know the half of it Raven. I'd be glad to give you a demo." He bit his lip, assessing her from head to toe, wanting to get under her skin. "But then I don't think you'd last very long." Her fists clenched, disgust filling her at the very concept. She just about noticed the small whimper Lynn let out from behind her, the sound adding fuel to the fire. "Oh Drew, sweetie." She grit out, leaning forward, placing the back of her hand on his cheek, stroking it in mock sympathy. He stood on guard, watching her suspiciously as she whispered the next few words, "Disappointments aren't really my type..." - A story about a girl, a boy, her best friend and a question of Maybe... - COMPLETED.
