Usually when we look at someone we don't know, we tend not to think about what they could possibly be going through and all the thoughts running through their mind. Our brains tend to make judgments based upon what we see; and everyone knows that's not always a good thing. This is a story-a true story-of how judgment became my worst enemy. Mind you, this is not a happy tale. This is a story of a girl in search for happiness. A girl who has yet to discover herself while journeying down an unpleasant road filled with lies and torturous schemes. Don't let the title of this book deceive you and the picture of the smiling, innocent young woman lead you to believe this will be a book about sunshines and rainbows. What you do not see is the immense pain and anger that hides behind the slight grin. The scars from countless fights that are covered by the thin layer of clothes that nobody will ever see. So think again when you look at this book-because on the inside you'll find the story of the little girl on the cover is not what you'd expect.

My whole body paining like hell. I crawled weekly towards the wall and rested my back on it. My breathing unsteady, the marks on my body giving me the pain, the same pain which I am getting I don't remember from when. Tears, I think now I am short of them. With difficulty, I crawled towards the side table to drink the water, my throat burning ,tongue dry. I grabbed the jug with my shaking hands fear raising in my innerself. What if the jug fell down? I drank from it, getting the taste of my blood from my busted lips. Full of grammatical mistakes.

If I was given an option, I would simply swap my looks for good, caring friends in a heartbeat. People tend to notice my looks without acknowledging that I'm smart. Why don't people notice my mind instead? Having been listed to more accusations than what I deserved, I burst out,"I am a decent enough person, and I can find someone who'll love me despite how I look." She smiled and said, "Prove it. Discard your looks and dress up ugly. If you win someone's true love in the next three months, I'll rub my nose under your feet and apologize in front of everyone."
