Sydney, a young teen just out of high school, preparing for college. One day, she runs into a snobbish boy, Parker. He seems to be the player, the type who goes around knocking up every girl in sight, and he probably has. He won't stop bothering Sydney when she's playing 'hard to get'. He becomes jealous, watching her begin to crush on some other guy, the so called 'new in town' guy. Sydney gets stuck, trying to figure out what she is going to do about college, she was falling in love --but with who? Will she stay to be with the man of her life, will Sydney give up on college, on her dreams if living in New Zealand?
