My English teacher has us write 750-1000 words per two weeks or so, and this is the story. The plot is a bit nebulous at the moment, but I hope you'll enjoy it anyway. Thanks! Updates Saturdays, this may change to Fridays. 11/2 note: Budha II needs to be re-revised 11/15 note: Budha IV will be undergoing some dramatic changes in the very near future. 1/1 note: The update is twice as long, sorry it was so late. Happy New Year everyone! 1/18 note: I realize the style/quality is extremely inconsistent. I wrote most of this during NaNoWriMo, and sometimes I just had to get through a scene, so I apologize if it's wonky. I'm trying to edit as much as I can, but I'm not spending too much time on it. Thanks for keeping up with this! 2/15 Note: Updating Tuesday this week, I'm super busy. Double update, though! 2/25 Note: Sorry! Time kind of got away from me. Double update again, since it's late, and I'll post it as soon as I can. 3/1 Note: And the Budha section is finished! There are 8 sections total, some shorter than others. Since the end of the Budha section was only another 1.7k words, I'll wrap up with the start of the next section. 3/29 Note: Sorry about the lack of updates! March kind of decided to kill me. Not entirely sure how I'm going to deal with the next update, but it will be dealt with by the end of today. Sorry for the holdup! 4/13 Note: Well, I figured out how to deal with it, but this is officially going on hiatus until, oh, late May, possibly even June. I'm really sorry! Getting to be the end of the school year, though, and it's just one long push to the end. Again, sorry about this! 8/13 Note: And summer has come and gone. Unfortunately, this is on hiatus indefinitely, as I'm busy applying to college -- too busy to give this the editing and attention it deserves. Thank you very much for following this, I hope to pick it back up once I get a chance!

Sam is the most promising swordsman among this year’s crop of Paladin trainees...and knows it. Brash, cocky, and unbeatable with a sword (well, almost), Sam is the kingdom of Thule’s best hope against the violence wrought by demons. The only problem is that Sam is really Lady Samantha, daughter of the seventeenth Duke of Haywood, and if her father has his way, she’ll be marrying a Paladin, not becoming one. But Sam has never held much interest in playing damsel-in-distress, and so she rescues herself from a lifetime of boredom and matrimonial drudgery. Pity that Tristan Lyons, the Paladin assigned to train her, is none other than the hero of her childhood. He hasn’t recognized her as Lady Samantha--yet-- but if he does, he’ll take away her sword and send her packing. Sam is not the only trainee hiding secrets: Braeden is a half-demon with a dark past that might be unforgivable. Sam, Braeden and Tristan set out for the western coast, charged with rooting out an infestation of demons that has made the West unlivable. As they travel, they uncover a deep-seated corruption of power that threatens to derail everything they stand for. Rebellion stirs, led by a rival faction of warriors who tempt Sam to join them with an irresistible offer. A war between men is coming, and Sam must pick a side. Will saving the kingdom cost her life -- or just her heart? Reminiscent of Mulan, but with a medieval fantasy twist, Paladin is a tale of adventure, action, and romance.

Celestial Children Book 1 Abby Freelander was insane. After all, it's not normal for animals to talk. However, that's exactly what happens when a stray dog warns her to flee a harmless-looking fog. From animal telepathy to meeting the eccentric and gummy-bear obsessed Josh Ewah, Abby starts to realize there's more to her life than she thought. Hunted by a shape shifting mad-man named Khail and guided by the mysteries surrounding the Ewah family, Abby is drawn into a world beyond her wildest imagination. She must come to grips with her new reality before it's too late. Being insane would have been a lot less complicated. ___ This story was posted to Wattpad and only Wattpad. Celestial Children Book 2 Most of Josh's life could be summed up by a collection of bracelets on his wrist-never staying in one place long enough to truly call it home, always running and hiding from his uncle Khail. Everything changed when Abby came into his life. No longer could his family hide from the monster hunting them. Khail wants to use the power of the Celestial Children and create the world in his own image. Nothing would stop him. Not the past, the future, and certainly not the present. Finding the Child of the Sun, protecting Abby, and saving the world... It was just another day in the Ewah household. ___ This story was posted to Wattpad and only Wattpad. Moody sixteen-year-old barista Devin Mulwray is doing his best to ignore bizarre manifestations at his job in the chilly Northern California town of Arcata. Already teased about his recurrent 'phase-outs', the last thing he needs is to get pegged as a guy who sees ghosts. It doesn't help his state of mind that his boss is a sarcastic slacker, his single dad is always on the road with clients and local occult fan girl Nayra is spreading 'ghost boy' rumors about him online. But when violent paranormal activity badly spooks teens at an abandoned estate, Devin's pushed into investigating by his eccentric friends Clive, a budding composer, and Rex, a tech head excited by ghost hunting gadgetry. At first reluctant to get involved, Devin's encouraged when Emily, one of the more empathetic girls at Grey Bluff High, is impressed with his daring. Together the friends explore the creepy Rousten manor. But as the only person able to perceive the manifestations, Devin soon finds himself going one-on-one against a powerful spirit who attacks the locals and infiltrates Devin's own dreams. Devin must face his fear of confronting the spirit world and get to the bottom of the hauntings before the specter unleashes more havoc on him and his friends.
