What if Draco had been with hermione durning the war? What if the dark lord had tried to get to Harry through his friends first?

The Battle of Hogwarts is over, and Voldemort no longer endangers the Golden Trio. Hermione knew that everything would change drastically after the war, however when she returns to Hogwarts with the second chance of her seventh year, her life turns upside down with a new love interest. Will their relationship withstand the problems that are undoubtedly crashing down on them? However, her twisted love triangle is the least of her problems. Even though the Dark Lord has gone, forces from the dark side still linger and threaten everyone Hermione loves.

This story begins as Hermione Granger enters her sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She will encounter new feelings, drifting friends, rising evil and some very awkward situations. Through the years Draco and Hermione have been feuding but they were friends in the begging. Draco wanting to live up to his Dads expectations became a death eater for him and in the proses forgeting what he really wanted was friends who cared. Hermione, having friends who care for her and being smart and loving is able to get past what happened over the years. But not everyone likes there frienship.

It's the year after the war and Hermione has returned for her last year of classes. Ron and Harry have jumped into Auror training, leaving Hermione, Ginny and their friends to their own devices. What happens when Hermione, Head Girl, is forced to room with Draco, Head Boy? Ron begins to pull away and become distant and a few old friends show their true colors. In the end, all Draco and Hermione will have is each other. But is that enough?

Draco Malfoy, whose mother insisted he return and complete his seventh year at Hogwarts, has been through so much. After the Battle, he felt as if he meant nothing to anyone. The only person who showed love to him was his mother, Narcissa Malfoy. His father, Lucius...was a bit traumatized after the war and suffered from what Muggles call Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome.
