Meadow and Grayson have been best friends since grade three and they couldn't be more different. Meadow is the happy, carefree type while though easy-going, Grayson is brooding. They truly think that together, their bond is strong enough to take on anything, but can they take on this? Meadow's frail heart only has a few months left to beat inside of her, even with assistance. The only way she'll survive is with a transplant, but being on the bottom of the waiting list, she's looking death in the eyes rather than getting the surgery. Sloane can remember some of her life, but she doesn't remember everything. After making it to Fort Saunders with her maybe - maybe not boyfriend Jagger and a depressed Cole, they don't find what they expect. Fort Saunders is long gone, ever since a hoard of the undead had infiltrated the supposed safe place. Things are happening that Sloane doesn't know about - things that affect her. The army has finally arrived, but instead of helping the survivors, they're killing them and not asking questions. They're also looking for her, hoping to bring her back to her father. But after learning that this new world is partially his fault, Sloane doesn't want to go with the army, she decides to go alone. Not only does she want to confront her father and get answers, but she also needs to stop him before there are no humans left. *SEQUEL TO RESISTANCE* Note: I suck at summaries. Also covers.

Tragedies change people. That being said, it shouldn't come as a surprise that the accident changed Gemma. Anger problems seem like the only issue to her, but her father and evil step-mother see a lot more than that lying underneath. Unable to help her, they go to their last resort; they send her to Safe Haven, a summer camp for troubled teens. Haven is a place where misunderstood teenagers can realize their problems and work through them in a safe environment. At least, that's what Gemma thought. The first things that come are the notes. Each one is written with a specific message on it, targeting the accident that killed her best friend and blaming her. The next are the secrets; everyone has one. But does everyone have one about her? The threads start unraveling as Gemma searches for the person who's hurting her; the person who is trying to drive her insane. But the closer she comes to uncovering the secret, the closer she comes to realizing that not everyone is who they seem.
