Previously "It All Started With a Facebook Poke" and felt like the title didn't really live up to what the whole story is actually about. Here's the new title, and a new cover. Thanks! ***** "I don't know which parts of my personality are mine and which ones I created to please you." After a disastrous break-up, Alexa Adler Holmes entertained a lot of guys to keep her mind off the painful event. (She's not usually like this but you can't really blame her on the ways she tried to kill her sadness, can you?) She eventually found Ethan Dartmith Wylde who made her feel what she has always wanted to feel: loved, owned and protected. As she tries her best to keep him, it has seemed she has lost herself. When do you really draw the line, this time? Is this where the "It's not you, it's me" line comes in proper context? Read on and find out. I hope my story could teach you that you are precious, that you do not need a guy's approval to be a great person, you don't need his compliments for you to feel beautiful, you don't have to impress him to feel you are amazing; you don't have to bend your back and give him everything you got without leaving some for yourself; because people who ask you for your everything will never be contented if you give them everything. (And if it wasn't obvious, yes, I'm a Sherlock Holmes fan.) P.S. btw, there's a lot of cursing in this story. Just be guided accordingly - or something.
