August grew up in the dangerous streets of New Orleans with his 3 best friends,Ciara,Nicki,and Drake. With the troubles of his childhood,he leaves to find his own way and make his brother proud. A few years later Nicki and Drake leave to focus on their career. With Ciara's dad passing away and her mom being in and out of her life,her and her brother Victor (Vic Mensa) are permanently damaged by that. With her friends and brother dominating the industry she has barely anybody to vent to. Her dreams of becoming a fashion designer are crushed.
