The year is 1856 and in Alaska, Revan and Sekkusu are long childhood friends and when there dream of both being vampire hunters came true they had to do it together. Revan is the quite and cool one of the two while Sekkusu is the outgoing drunk leader. Both have ties to their past that neither of them want to deal with but will soon have to face together or alone, but first they meet two mysterious females that will send them on the journey of a life time.

The stories takes place four years after the first book. The Russian Government is in the progress of selling the Alaska territory and due to that the vampire threat has caused wars between vampires and hunters. Due to the wars, the U.S. Government sent troops to help enforce the peace along the Russians.
