This is a document containing a Christmas poem that I have written every year from the age of ten. Some are serious, others sentimental and there is one which is just insanely funny. I recommend reading my ten year old one first and working up to my seventeen year old one because you can see how my writing has progressed and developed. Additionally I have put in the song, 'All I want for Christmas is you,' by Mariah Carey, but to some slightly different and amusing lyrics.

This is a story about amanita muscaria/ fly agaric, which is a mushroom with hallucinogenic properties. The fungus, used as a drug, is a mechanism of escape for the main character, who is trapped between her own fantasy and her painful reality.
