Jean was a teenager. And being a teenager things were hard for him, and being gay that is. Even harder. He had few friends and he tried to be punk on the outside. On the first day of school, Jeans life was flipped upside down. Marco bott was a small light in jeans dark world.

Jean kirschtein, water enthusiast, has been basically born underwater. It seemed to him like being on a national swim team wasn't enough. When he finally gets a chance to try out to be a seaworld trainer, he meets marco bodt. Jean realized that Marco was more special than he seemed.

Marco Bott was chosen to be the leader in almost every group he was in. He was honest, kind, and generous. He was in the top 10% of his class. He's always been a teacher's favorite. Then there's Jean Kirstein. He's considered selfish. He is barely above Marco grade-wise. The only reason he is that high is because he doesn't want to be considered a slack-off. But they each have a different side. Marco is bullied daily by Jean's old friends. Jean is abused at home, and considers himself lowly and trash. No one ever sees these sides except the people who cause it. But when they join a local group, both seeking redemption, they find each other. Modern AU! Marco comes back from war, but only half of him is still normal and he fears not being accepted by his lover, Jean. He has to overcome his uncertainty for both Jean and his kids.

Jean was never sure of anything in his life, but could the thing that seemed utterly wrong be totally and completely right? Jean started falling in love with the freckled boy, but frightened for all the same reasons plus worried of what his mother would think, he never confessed. If either confesses, well it's hard to say... If everything will be alright...
