Hope Baker, a quiet girl suffering from depression and bullying has only reason to keep her alive and that's her best friend Luke Hemmings. But when that reason isn't strong enough, she commits suicide. Before she does, she records 13 memo's, which had 13 reasons why she loved him and kept her alive.

Natalie is a teen who as been thinking about suicide. She has no friends, her mum is dead, her dad is a drunk and the girls at school bully her. The one person how cares is a teacher called Miss Blackly. But one day something went to far and it was the end for Natalie.

Corren's family is left shattered and in pieces after the suicide of Scott, Corren's brother. Six months later Corren has been in his third fight at school. His parents find this as an excuse to send him away, but Corren knows the real reason; they can't look him in the eye without seeing Scott. A new school, a new state, and a thousand miles away from home should mean a new start, but Corren is tired. He's tired of taking blades to his skin, he's done with his insomnia, and he's sick of feeling like Scott's death was his fault. Corren is without a doubt, tired of fighting. Drugs, love, family, friends. Being reckless is fun, but how far can you get before you're in too deep? Being this young, temptations are just begging for a chance!
