Clint has a happy family life (or so everyone thinks) and Natasha's alongside Captain America training the new Avenger recruits. What could be wrong? Of course, the super spies can never catch a break. Both Clint and Natasha's past become uncovered along with Fury's plans. They endanger not only their friends and family, but each other as they try to avoid the repercussions of their sins. Clint and Natasha only have each other's trust to hang onto as they venture into the past, the buried, the unknown... the dark. ** Note ** I don't want to skirt the Barton family in a common way by like killing off Laura or creating an AU. I'm going to work through this logically in a way that, if we really wanted to, could gloss over the Barton family in AoU. I will also work through the whole Bruce and Natasha catastrophe (in my opinion, of course). For those of you who write to me and say, "Hey, did you know FOX...", yeah, I just went and checked it out. While different from -my- version of Lucifer, I just adore how naughty and funny FOX's version is and couldn't resist the urge to indulge in a little fun. This will be a collection of little one-off drabbles expanding upon scenes that catch my fancy or scenes I -wish- were there, but weren't. I'll do my best to remain on-script because, let's face it, by next week it might have all changed. There's a whole boatload of fun stuff you can do with subtext. UST ... here we come! Whee!!! Okay, the usual disclaimers. FOX et al (Neil Gaiman, Vertigo/DC Comics & Mike Careyown, etc) own all the rights to the characters and situations as depicted in the television series Lucifer. They don't own Luciferi himself, i.e., 'Oh Luciferi, star of the morning...' as blathered in Isaiah 14:12. Although who knows? With big-media gobbling everything up, maybe they do own Luciferi, or more accurately, maybe Luciferi owns them? Hah! I write this for my own pleasure and amusement and derive no money for it.
