Things change, from when you were young. Once, Delilah Cook lived in Sydney, was best friends with a boy called Luke Hemmings, and had big dreams of being a singer. Then the terrible, tragic and unexpected happened. Now, Delilah lives in Melbourne, is recently signed music artist, has a best friend named Emilia Jones and doesn’t think about Luke anymore. At least, that’s what she tells herself. But when Delilah finds herself on a tour with the 5SOS boys of her past, what could possibly go wrong?

"Give me ten days." He whispered, fighting my reluctance to look into his eyes. "Ten days?" I asked, crossing my arms. Did this guy think that this was a joke? Or a game? "Ten days and I'll give you ten reasons to why you should want to stay alive." He answered, biting his lip. "I don't even know you-" "Deal?" He asked sternly, cutting me off. I shifted and searched through my brain for any reason- any- to why I should refuse. But really, what was there to lose? "Deal." I whispered. I watched as a smile tugged at his lips. "See you tomorrow then."

Luke's ass sits on a throne at the top of the social chain, but with popularity comes limitations. Don't do this; don't do that; you like which movie? As Luke loses sight of who he is, Ari Quiroz steps into his life. Spunky and loudmouthed, the fearless Filipino teen inadvertently shows Luke what it's like to live life without barricades. However, with the fear of being a freak and the temptations of popularity luring him in, Luke has to decide what's more important.
