This story is semi-canonical! Imagine today's world, but where everyone has superpowers - all the rest of the facts are the same. Enjoy! ----- In a world filled with superheroes, what little Sean can do just seems... useless. He's rejected from everything, everyone looks down on him. There just doesn't seem to be a place where he fits in. But when he finds Sector Eight, an elite school for the heroes with the best powers who hide in plain site on a website where they are guaranteed success, despite the fact that he is so useless, he can't help but feel like he belongs, like he's finally part of something. Maybe it's possible for him to find a true home that accepts him, but he'll need a little help to believe it... To the world, you are one person. To one person, you are the world. ----- BOOK 1 OF THE 'SECTOR EIGHT' BOOK SERIES

"I was still conscious, although I wished I wasn't..." A story of how someone considered as a green-haired freak comes across the only other person he's been able to be friends with, a guy that we actually can't really call human... I finally got to work on my story-idea when I realised I could write while on the train to uni and back home :) So, this is it! It's situated in the 19th century mostly, but it isn't really mentioned in the story itself. I'll probably add my own drawings as a cover (Done!) Feel free to comment your feedback! I want to improve, but that's only possible when I hear about the flaws from you guys. So if you spot mistakes, spelling errors or if you have some advice, don't hesitate and tell me! ^^ Anyway, that's more than enough time wasted, I hope you enjoy reading!

Mitch felt like his life was perfectly normal, well, at least as normal as life can be when you make YouTube videos for a living in a house with the six other lovable lunatics known as Team Crafted. One day in the middle of summer however, he wasn't expecting to be throwing himself in front of a speeding truck to save the life of a girl in the middle of the road. Mitch knew he was supposed to die from that accident, but what he wasn't expecting was for that girl to instead be a lost spirit, who says she can revive Mitch, but with a catch. Mitch immediately agrees for the chance to be with his friends again, and he wakes up once again in the world of the living. However, after two days, Mitch finds out what the spirit meant by 'catch'. He wakes to find a pair of big wings on his back, and now the Benja began to understand that he was only in for more... Trying his best to hide the fact that he died, came back to life, and has wings from the prying eyes of his friends (who are wondering why the heck he is acting so weird...), he tries to continue living his life as normal as possible, but as Mitch soon learns, fate is not going to let that happen...

However all of that changed when he happens across a mysterious necklace that instantly connects with him. And unfortunately for those entrusted with the necklace, Adam is now the caretaker of the necklace and must be brought back to the AHD, the place where heroes are born, and the place the necklace was created. Adam has long since been an admirer of the AHD. He's heard the stories of the great Players. Players have the rare gift of a respawn, where they can die over and over again and live. While Humans like Adam only have one life. But since finding the necklace, Adam is shocked to discover that the one who created it, created it to grant normal humans like him, Player like abilities. For the first time ever, Adam has the chance to follow an impossible dream. A dream only accomplished by a chance encounter. For Adam, this meant a grand adventure as a hero himself. But things aren't all that they seem in the Association of Human Defense... Everywhere Adam seems to go he finds even the people he looked up to aren't all that great. Adam discovers a world filled with corruption and an ancient war that has been hidden from the public for centuries. Adam is faced with reality where he doesn't know who's just and who's not. Ian was born with his eyes shut, and could not get them open. This was for the best, as open eyes brought a big surprise, but nobody knew that until it was too late. The surgery was performed, Ian could see, but it only takes 60 seconds for the red to cloud over, and his eyes to point in opposite directions, and for his Phsychotic Derp alternate personality to take over. Behind the glasses aren't only his cold blue eyes, but a monster that can only be tamed by the glasses that hold it prisoner, and needs to be kept a secret or many innocent lives will be lost. He soon makes friends, but curiosity can drive people insane. How long can Ian hide the Derp? What would happen if it got discovered? (Includes most of Team Crafted and some others. The myths vary across the land. Some foretell the chaos and destruction that the one with empty eyes will leave. Other warn of the demon from another world, who will kill without remorse in its quest to restore order. When the paths of a very abnormal Spawn and an assassin with a strange power cross, their lives instantly rocket into an unforeseen adventure that throws them into situations and friendships that only add to their growing list of questions, including why they're being hunted down by a person who would rather see them in a pool of blood than let them live another day. {Increasing violence and mild Skylox as the book progresses.} [I do not own the characters of SkyBrine and Enderlox. Cover done by yours truly.] WARNING: The first few chapters aren't well written and are very short. They also have several author's notes at the end that you can mostly ignore (minus the one about the art).
