Lapis is the kind of person who is fun to be around but when she is mad or upset she would be better to avoid. Peridot is a nerd obsessed with TV shows and such. Peridot is smart and Lapis is a 'special' student meaning she can't really process information that easily. So when Peridot is choosen to be her tutor... nothing can go wrong right?? Peridot Diamond: A short, pale blonde scientist who is socially awkward. All she cares about is science, facts, and logics. She's never really had a friend and she's never felt attracted to anyone, until she meets Lapis Lazuli. Lapis Lazuli: A tall, tan bluenette life guard who's all over the place. She's carefree, wild, and she's pretty odd. No one knows it, but she struggles with depression. ---- Peridot Diamond is a dorky scientist from Beach City High. Her life revolves around school, and of course science. She's fine being alone, and she has never felt attached to anyone. This all changes when she meets Lapis Lazuli. At first the two hate eachother, they want nothing to do with one another. They absolutely loathe eachother. But that slowly starts to change as Peridot and Lapis begin learn more about one another. Peridot isn't really a narcissist, and Lapis isn't really as strange as she seems. Peridot soon finds herself developing feelings for Lapis, feelings she's never felt before. Confused and afraid, Peridot is trying her best to figure this out. Yet she can't help but wonder... Does Lapis feel the same? Lapis and Peridot are both normal students but doesn't know each. Lapis is dating Jasper for 5 months. While, Peridot, hangs around with a group name "The Crystal Gems", and ends up dating with Amethyst for 3 months. Lapis Lazuli is living a perfectly normal life in a land called HomeWorld... that is, until she meets Peridot. Lapis takes a vaca on a cruise ship where she meets Peridot and soon befriends her. Then a huge storm hits the ocean right as Lapis and Peridot become best friends and sinks the ship! Lapis grabs Peridot and flies her and herself to a nearby island where they take shelter. Lapis then realizes her source of power, her gem, is broken and can't fly her and Peridot back home! Now they have to survive on the island together until her gem is fixed. Peridot is very frustrated that she can't get home but soon finds the beauty in the island and is thankful she is stuck with her new best friend! As the island brings them together, possibly into more than friendship, Lapis' gem begins to heal. Suddenly Lapis and Peridot get into an argument that could possibly bring them apart. Will the island drive them apart, or bring them together? Disclaimer: I don't own anything.

Whether they're respected or picked on because of their appearance, they all manage to get through... Most of it. The crystal gems, trying to hide their secrets to avoid further investigation, Steven and Connie, trying to live life to the fullest, Lapis and Peridot, trying to uncover as many secrets as possible, and Jasper and her gang, trying to be the best and most loved- and feared. Peridot has had a shitty life. Rarely has anything went her way. When she's forced to transfer to a new school three weeks before graduation, it seems that streak continues.
