"Real girls aren't perfect, and perfect girls aren't real."
Carr, a nineteen-year-old scientist, is the smartest man that the world has ever seen. With the help of his father's technology and with the knowledge to know how to use it, Carr does what no one has ever done before. He creates the perfect woman. She is, in essence, human; she has skin, bones, blood. However, she does not have what makes a human humane: emotions. Sure, Carr can program emotions, push some buttons; love, anger, hurt, happiness, sadness, she has all of those. The problem is that she can't feel them. Carr has created Eden, and contrary to his beliefs, she is far from perfect.
What's Carr to do when Eden isn't able to comprehend the concept of imperfection - and, consequently, ruins his life?
