Join me as I step once more into this beloved world, full of charming and memorable characters, to share a few stories that desired... No, demanded to be told. Here presents a collection of stories focusing on several characters from across the Layton universe. From Descole, to Hershel himself, of course, herein lies stories highlighting the puzzling, yet extraordinarily wonderful characters this game series has given us. No two stories are alike, and each one of them shall bring new life to these characters we cherish so dearly. A theme for these stories would be memories and emotions, and how simple items can harbour such strong emotional ties. Each character has something that means a great deal to them, for we infuse aspects and memories into simple objects and in that new life and meaning is born. Should we lose sight of that, it can change who we are. Yet all we need is a little reminder of our humanity. Of love and the bonds that hold us together. Keep us strong. So dive into a few tales from some characters you know and love deeply, and maybe some who will have a new light shone onto them. I guarantee a little something for everyone.

While cleaning out his grandmothers attic John glance out of the window to see the abandoned decrepit house looking brand new and full of people, that's when he realised it shows the world from 100 years ago.

It's Dr. Edward Richtofen's first time in Northern France, and he's just accepted a new job with Group 935, a secret society working for the German military. At first, it's all too good to be true. He has a nice boss, Dr. Ludvig Maxis, a good paying job, and a brand new house. But when Eliza comes into the picture, things begin to stir up. You see, Eliza Washington is a house servant, there only to serve her master, Richtofen. There's just one underlining rule. A servant is not allowed, under any circumstance, to have a relationship with her master. To the others this may seem irrelevant, but as Richtofen and Eliza grow closer, can they stay strong and abide by the rules?

He is lavish. Masterful. Intellectual, inexplicable, overt. Sexual. Sherlock Holmes defines extravagance. He isn't exactly the best thing for John's tireless, bland stability. John works the nine to five and tries not to lose sleep over the small things - like the labor of his fiancée's expectations, and the sirens that fill his head with noise after curfew. He finds comfort in art, and drinking. Besides the war making its presence known, slowly creeping its black tendrils into the heart of Bristol - John's life is quiet. Given that, he's not surprised when he is dragged into Sherlock Holmes's orbit. There is no manual to help him navigate the moment their eyes first meet; he presents himself as the perfect distraction, a beautiful incendiary miracle. John thinks that maybe he was hoping for this, because: Sherlock is potent, and inflammatory, and perfectly willing to make John's life hell for his own self-indulgent pleasure. With one touch, John's sense of self is corrupted. And what does it matter if the world implodes? It was never kind to them to begin with.

John and Sherlock The unstoppable force of knowledge and bravery. Through thick and thin Through life and death Through the best of times and the worst of times. Nothing can separate these two. But what if it's out of their control?
