After retiring the Lion Guard, Kion found his new role in the Circle of Life: being king of the Tree of Life. Over time, he made new friends and found out things he never knew before in his life. But one day, something horrifying happened that would take away his honor of being king. The guard tried their best to prove that Kion was innocent, but nothing worked. Rani was depressed when seeing her mate leave the kingdom, but she knew it was the only way to keep him safe from 'the curse.' Outside of the kingdom, Kion befriend Nuru: a rogue lioness that was kicked out of her pride too. Soon enough, Kion became a prideless lion himself. Kion and Rani still cared and loved each other dearly, but an old curse was drifting them away from each other. Will things go back to normal? Read "We Drifted Away" to find out!

After hearing about a plot to ambush the Lion Guard, she, her brothers, and a new friend must find the courage to warn the Lion Guard of Scar's next plot.

I was inspired to write this by the fanfiction written by Derpyforever who ships Kion and Jasiri and has a great story about them. I would recommend reading it and I hope you enjoy reading my Jasiri and Kion fanfiction which features their adventures in a world of my own. This takes place before "Divide and Conquer."
