Percy Jackson was just an ordinary kid. Or so he thinks until he learns that his father is a merman - and that Percy shares that supernatural heritage. Everything seems to crash down around Percy when Poseidon learns about the domestic abuse Percy and Sally suffer at Gabe's hands and thinks he has a right to take Percy away from home. Now Percy has to adjust to living with a father he barely knows and a stepmother and half-siblings he had never really been close to either. And because his life wasn't already complicated enough, he has to enroll in a supernatural, magical high school, where he meets Nico di Angelo, the so-called Ghost King of Summers High - an actual vampire.

But uh this story was based off of the song Cancer by My Chemical Romance and has a couple of...Easter Eggs? Is that what you's call them? idk.

((((COMPLETED)))) Percy Jackson is depressed and has succumbed to self destructive ways to release his frustration. Nobody notices a thing until Nico gets wind of his former crush drifting farther and farther away. Percy suddenly has new feelings for someone new, and he gets rejected by someone, but not who he thinks. He gets a quest and has to pick one other person from camp to go with him to rescue a friend. Percy gets cursed along the way and has to make it back to Camp to save a life. This story is about Percy self harming, and Nico helping him, there are mentions of dizziness, the feeling of starving, graphic self harm/injuries, blood, graphic thoughts of a person with depression, and probably something like psychological horror. If any of that makes you uncomfortable, don't read!!! I don't think I'm going to get any backlash for anything but if you comment, I'm probably not going to answer you! To the people who leave nice comments, I do read all of them and it is appreciated! this is my first published work, I just wanted to add something to this cool community and maybe live a little vicariously through the characters.
