Connor and Troye came from two very different groups in their school. What started as a forbidden friendship just for them could turn into so much more.

Past: Troye Sivan Mellet is a nervous kid coming to the US to study, which is where he meets Connor, his charming and charismatic RA. Always seemingly bubbly and smiling, little does he know what lies beneath. Present: Connor Franta is a stockbroker living in New York City with his niece, Zoe Franta-Sugg. Zoe, like millions of teenagers, is a huge fan of Trxye, a recluse singer who never shows his face. However, his addicting synth pop beats make up for it. One day, Trxye decides to put on a surprise show in New York and Connor tags along with Zoe. Who knows what will happen? Who is Trxye actually?

Voices, familiar and sweet, something both Troye and Connor are used to. Troye lives in Australia and has never thought it strange that he had made best friends with the voice inside his head. Until now the boy was just a fragment of his imagination, something to comfort himself in times of trouble. Connor lives in America and despite being the more cynical of the two also never found it weird that he had made a connection with the foreign boy in his head. But then when Connor and Troye meet for the first time on a family vacation they find out that maybe everything wasn't as simple as it seemed.
