(EDITS COMPLETE 7/8/2020) Captain Levi Ackerman of the Scouting Legion has felt alone ever since his friends, Isabel and Farlan, died years ago. Trusting people had never come easily to him, but since then, it became even harder--almost unnatural. Then along came Commander Hanji Zoë. Everything about her screamed reckless. She loved titans and danger. Serious matters seemed like a foreign concept to her. A smile never seemed to leave her face unless in the case of dramatic impressions. Under normal circumstances, he would have loathed her. But something about Hanji caught his attention. What it was, he wasn't sure. But when an unfortunate titan-related accident happens, Levi is bound find out.

After waking up from dying in his sleep, Levi questions what he should do with his life. On top of that, he's gained an unwanted friend: Dr. Hanji Zoe, who was present when he woke up. Everything points back to him rejoining the Survey Corps, but he can't deal with the PTSD attacks alone, so Hanji comes along. It doesn't take Levi long to realize that he needs Hanji as more than just a doctor, but Erwin thinks differently, and will do whatever it takes to make Levi the soldier he used to be...

During a mission outside the walls Hanji gets injured. With the infirmary full, Levi must take it upon himself to nurse her back to health. He never saw her without her glasses or with her hair down. When Shitty Glasses falls asleep, what else would have been shattered other the lenses of those glasses? And that's when Levi finds out a kiss is not enough to wake up someone sleeping for eternity. The day when "we" becomes "I", Levi learns that sometimes the story stops before it could end with "Happily ever after"...

Hanji Zoë grew up practically raising herself. To forget the world around her she read, a lot. She read anything and everything. Science books were her favorite. But she also loved fairy tales, and dreaming of her own happy ending. She never thought it was possible, living on a world run by Titans, but she was wrong. (I don't own the characters or the art and if any of you know who made it please put their names in the comments and I'll happily give them credit. Also know there may be triggers and some mature things.)
