Aisle 14 (2015)

"The store was filled from aisle to aisle with bodies. They weren't all dead, as could be inferred from the quiet moans and the rustling of sick people stumbling around the shop aimlessly- but they were already corpses in the view of the other side of the door, who were still outside in the freedoms of nature."
Its been 100 years since the apocalypse and humanity is no longer thriving. Humans are forced to live without the luxury of electricity, and its every man/woman for themself. In Melanie Kane's community, an epidemic has spread out of control - a sickness. As the community has no place for the sick, they are forced to be dropped off for death in a nearby Walgreen's. They've convinced themselves theres nothing that can be done. It's the only way to contain the illness.
This practice questions almost everyone's morals, but Melanie, teenager, has to forced herself to be rational as the commander of the community's military.
But Death has no favorites. No list of people to spare. Will Melanie stand her ground as more helpless sick are tossed into the depths of the abandoned store, or will the guilt finally prove to be too difficult to bare?
