"Mack, we've all been through this before, it's normal to have a crush every once in a while when you're in a relationship. I know I've been there. The fact that it happened isn't what matters, it's normal, it's healthy. How you handle it is what matters" Coach said. "So what do I do?" I asked. "What are my options?" "Well, I've heard you talk to Ella on the phone before, no offense by this, are you really happy with her? Because that girl seems like she has no respect for you." Lee said. "I love her." I said. "Not what I asked," Lee said. "What did you do in this situation?" I asked coach. "You don't want my answer right now if you're still reflecting on all of this" He said. "I do." I said. He paused. "I reflected, made the decision to end my relationship. But, I had genuine feelings for the other girl, you just met Cubbie, you're not there yet" Coach said, offering me a smile. "Well, how'd it all work out for you?" I asked. "Ask her yourself, she's standing behind you cooking dinner for our kids as we speak" Joe said. Wow that was a lot. I looked back at the door she had just walked out, then looked back at Coach and Lee. "Had a feeling that one would scare you a little bit. "He's not scared, he's reflecting." Lee said, putting emphasis on the word. ⋆˚࿔ TW mentions of: drinking, mental health issues, family issues, and lethal amounts of sarcasm & dark humor

⋆˚࿔ Luke Hughes isn't exactly like his brothers. He's not the most, walk up and talk to pretty girl type guy, until he met her. "I mean, seriously Lukey, you need to just grow a pair and go for it. You guys have practically been dating for months, you're going to lose her if you don't do something about it." Nico said. "You guys just don't get it, it's not that easy, she's leaving in two months, this situation, it's only temporary-" "Yeah, and if you don't man up and do something about it, she will be too" Nico said, walking out the front door, letting it close harshly behind him. "Ooo, you made him mad" Jack said in a mocking tone. "That's not easy to do Lukey boy" He said, clapping his hands on my shoulder as he walked over to the couch. He's right. I have to do something about this. LOST LOG IN FOR LAST ACCOUNT. HAVE MOVED ACCOUNTS :)

Under the Spotlight follows Quinn Hughes, the dedicated and stoic captain of the Vancouver Canucks, as he navigates the pressures of an NHL season while secretly letting his guard down in front of a documentary crew filming for Face Off. Among the cameras is Nathalie Rivers, a talented and perceptive cinematographer who slowly becomes the person Quinn trusts the most. From early morning skates and candid locker room moments to quiet city walks and shared breakfasts, their professional relationship evolves into something tender and deeply personal. Through laughter, teasing, and vulnerable conversations, they discover a connection neither expected - one that balances Quinn's intense focus on hockey with Nathalie's quiet, grounding presence. As the Canucks battle through the season and into the playoffs, Nathalie captures every defining moment, while their own relationship blossoms behind the lens. From intimate candid photos and shared adventures to quiet nights reflecting on victories, Under the Spotlight is a heartwarming tale of love, trust, and the magic found in the spaces between fame and real life. It's a story about finding someone who sees you fully - on and off the ice - and learning that sometimes the most meaningful victories happen away from the spotlight.

The world knows her face. No one knows her voice. Tessa McRae is famous for standing beside her sister. To the public, she is Tate McRae's shadow-her younger sister by ten months, her backup dancer on tour, her favorite model for magazine covers and music videos. Beautiful, poised, always in motion, always half a step out of frame. No one knows she used to write music. No one knows why she stopped. When Tate begins dating NHL star Jack Hughes in the middle of hockey season, Tessa follows her to New Jersey like she always does-protective, steady, invisible in the ways that matter. She doesn't expect to meet Luke Hughes. Jack's younger brother is quiet where the world is loud, gentle where fame is sharp. While Jack recovers from a freak injury and the season barrels forward without pause, Luke becomes an unexpected constant-text messages between flights, late-night calls after losses, small truths exchanged in the dark. What starts as friendship becomes something dangerous. Because Luke sees her. Not the model. Not the dancer. Not the sister. The girl who still hears songs in her bones. Every lyric she writes in secret feels like betrayal. Every feeling for Luke feels like crossing a line that can't be uncrossed. Because loving him doesn't just risk her heart. It risks her sister. Their fragile balance. The life Tessa rebuilt after her voice was taken from her. And when the music comes back louder than her fear, she must decide: remain the girl the world recognizes... or become the woman her heart has been writing all along. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ updating every sunday :)

Quinn Taylor has made a career out of looking calm. On the ice, she's America's favorite kind of pressure-proof-bright smile, steady answers, the skater everyone wants to root for. Off the ice, she's an only child with a perfectionist's brain and a habit of carrying too much alone. The cameras love her. The country expects her. And the one place she can't afford to fall apart is the one place she's dreamed of since she was little. The Olympics. Macklin Celebrini has always made things feel lighter. He was the new kid at a Northern California rink at twelve-Canadian, polite, a little lost-until Quinn decided he was hers to keep. He became her best friend in the cold air and early mornings, the person who could make her laugh mid-breakdown and never ask her to perform for him. Then life did what life does: seasons changed, schedules got brutal, distance widened, and the kind of friendship that felt unbreakable turned into occasional texts and quiet missing. Now they're both back where the world is loudest. At the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Quinn is chasing the skate of her life for Team USA. Mack is carrying his own weight for Team Canada hockey. When reporters find out they grew up together, the story writes itself-childhood friends reunited, smiles caught on camera, a thousand strangers deciding what they are to each other. The only problem is... the strangers aren't entirely wrong. Between past chapters at a small California rink and present days in the Olympic Village, Quinn and Mack have to figure out what they really meant to each other then-and what they're allowed to be now, with medals on the line and the whole world watching. Because it's one thing to love someone quietly from a distance. It's another to have them show up in your life again and make everything feel possible.

In the NHL, everything is measured in moments. Shifts. Periods. Overtime. Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith have always understood that kind of pressure. On the ice, they're precise, relentless, unstoppable. Off it, they have each other. They don't expect anything else, until her. Charlie never planned on being seen. She was just a fan in the stands, switching jerseys, holding signs no one was supposed to notice. As playoff runs blur into something bigger than hockey, the three of them begin to build a life that doesn't follow the rules-one shaped by choice, loyalty, and love that refuses to fit into neat lines.
