This is a short story that I wrote for my Language Arts class. It's a myth based on Green mythology and is explaining how a natural event came to be. The even I chose is rain. Hope you enjoy!

Alex Swanson is a 15 year old boy who struggles with quite a few mental illness, with no mother and an alcoholic for a dad Alex only cares for his one best friend Elizabeth Fowler who is in an abusive relationship she can't seem to get out of. Alex is meant to help Elizabeth and take her somewhere much safer for the both of them while dealing with his mental illnesses. This story is set in an old town that had once been torn down but is now obviously rebuilt with a train station working near by in the year 1992.
