In this AU/Fan-fiction style writing Billy Black has a second child. Reese's mother was a sex-worker, pushed into the field by her drug dealing vampire pimp. For a long time Reese live with her mother, until her tragic life came to a tragic end. Finally, Billy got to meet his nearly fully grown daughter in person. He was the only one aware of her existance, and the only one who knew that she was coming. This story takes love, pain, and loss to a new level for the Twilight universe.

In the year 921 A.D., the Arabic diplomat Ibn Faḍlān made an account of a Viking funeral. He was part of a caliphal embassy that made the trip from Bagdad to the Volga area, today's Russia. I have reimagined his account from a different perspective - to that of a girl who joins her chieftain in death.
