So when Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, comes down with her cousin Clark Kent, Barbara is much less than thrilled in learning she is going to be the one entertaining the very talkative, very outgoing, and- in Barbara's opinion- very annoying girl who believes Barbara is her best friend. At least Dick has to suffer with her. What Barbara doesn't know is what is going on behind the scenes- a major conspiracy against Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. When the three heroes get kidnapped by their archenemies, Barbara has to learn how to get along with her total opposite to help Dick get them back.
