THANK YOU, Wattpad, for the HQ Love Watty Award! Concept: A mysterious young woman flees from her troubled past only to discover it is impossible to escape THE SECRET that haunts her. *PLEASE NOTE: This story was originally inspired by the movie "Sleeping With the Enemy". * * * * * "I would never, Steven," she promised, turning away from him in an attempt to protect herself. "I know you wouldn't," he screamed. Cupping her chin in his hand, he forced her to look at him. "Because I would kill you." His words hung heavy in the air. Sarah's heart sank into her stomach. No matter how many times she'd heard the menacing phrase, she could never get used to it. It had the same affect on her as the first time he'd thrown the ugly words in her face. The familiar sting of bile rose in her throat, and she knew she would deplete the contents of her stomach once she was locked in the safety of their master bath. 'If I make it through this time,' she agonized. Her biggest fear was that one day he would really lose his temper with her. Who knew what would happen then? *This story is an unedited first draft. Top Ranks: Action #1, Mystery and Thriller #1 *This story contains scenes of abuse and may be disturbing to some readers. While the characters are fictional, domestic violence is a serious issue that many people across the world face. If you or someone you know is the victim of abuse, please seek help immediately. Irony {noun} - a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often wryly amusing as a result. Khloe Matthews had never really considered how ironic her life was until she died. At parties, the head cheerleader would do something BIG to get revenge. If this meant spreading secrets and telling lies then she would do it. How ironic is it that Khloe used parties as a way of ending her peers' social lives and in turn someone used her own end of summer party to end her life? The sad thing is that Khloe didn't even really see it coming, but as she recounts her story, it becomes increasingly obvious that her so called 'friends' did. Now her friends will have to learn that just because the bitch is dead, it doesn't mean she's gone. Who said you had to be alive to get revenge? graphic by @obsessedhumor- [highest ranking = #1 in mystery & thriller {29/12/15}] All Rights Reserved Copyright © longtimegone Steal my work-face my wrath.

The not-so-safe haven of Chattanooga, Tennessee has always been normal territory for Geneva. But as an unproductive, boring year for her comes to an end, everything she believes in is shattered to the point that she can't even be sure that her first name is real. Life swings her from one side to the next, and suddenly she is swung into the same place as five other innocent human beings. Their participation in what seems to be a sick game begins once December arrives, but behind the scenes, things have been changing all along. How long will it take for them to discover who they should point fingers at? Who will find out first, and will he help the others or save himself? Before salvation, though, you must acknowledge that you need to be saved. In these youths' case, it's almost too late for epiphanies. (Sequel, Blue Pencil Dolls, is on my page.)

(NEEDS TO BE BULLDOZED AND EDITED THE HELL OUT) In other words, read at your own risk because I was 16 and wrote this with my eyes closed obviously. Adrianna Winters is playful, carefree, and sarcastic. She likes to live on edge and have so much fun that she wakes up looking like a drugged up hooker with a killer hangover in the morning and she swears she'll never drink again but she's back on the booze hours later. "Officer," I purred, "I swear to drunk I'm not god..." Archie snorted beside me and I turned to glare at him. Jesus, how drunk am I? Did I just purr at an officer that looks like a chocolate version of Homer Simpson? Okay calm down Adrian. Think, think, think! God if you're listening to me right now I'm sorry for stealing Britney Taylor's chocolate bar in third grade and I'm sorry for telling stinky Meli that no matter how many sample perfume magazines she rubbed on herself, she will still stink like donkey shit. Oh and I'm sorry for having sex with Conner Rossi in the locker room instead of being in Biology, wait I only half regret that because the way he used his...had me...Okay Adrian so not the time. Alright - God, well I'm sorry for being a douche bag but if you're still listening could you please poof Officer Crowley away? Getting arrested with my best friend's devilishly good looking arrogant brother who also happens to be my child hood friend was not how I imagined this night to go.
