Just because you different it doesn't make you a freak or a weirdo, being different makes you unique and importantly it makes you You. Promises were broken, By words left unspoken, Friendships clasped untied, By truth that are hidden in lies, Years of secret coded memories are taken away, By blood forces that bind yet led me astray.~ Dear friend Read on to find the entire poem. In the fall of 2007, a quirky, sensitive girl named Hannah had a crush on an insensitive jerk. And I was her father. In the summer of 1984, a quirky, sensitive girl named Emily had a crush on an insensitive jerk. And I was that jerk. Loosely based on a true story (well, several, actually) "The Idiot Who Ran Into A Tree" is a comedic, bittersweet tale of parenting, teen angst, summer camp and a quarrelsome oak. All the names have been changed. The nicknames, however, have stayed the same.

Salutations, everyone. I decided that instead of polluting my nice, clean, pleasant poetry book with strange, disturbing poetry, I'd create another collection. Most of these poems will be stories about people or events, and some will have murder, death, and curious characters. I hope that you enjoy these anyway, sincerely, K. M. Marugg Edit: This is an old, old work of fiction, but I am keeping it published for now, because I still find it amusing, even if I don't feel that it's any good.

When I was young, I always wanted to write poems. Opposite the glowing light of the sun at a beautiful summer, my life is in a cold and gloomy winter. My sun had died, all my warmth gone. //Lana Del Rey inspired poems.//
