Five years ago, Hermione Granger thought her marriage to Draco Malfoy would last. That is until she gave birth to a son named, Scorpius, and everything between her and Draco changed. Disappointed, Hermione divorces Draco and she, along with her son, leaves Malfoy for good. Few years later, Draco receives a pamphlet from the Ministry where it says that former Death Eaters have escaped Azkaban and are out to kill every single witch and wizard that defeated and betrayed Lord Voldemort. Realizing that his former wife's and son's lives are at risk, Draco is determined to search the entire London just to save them from the attack.

The war is over and a year has passed. Hogwarts, now rebuilt, is back open for business. The seventh years have been asked to come back to school and complete their final year of school. Hermione and Draco have a problem. During the year Draco and Hermione grew close. Really close. The now pregnant Hermione makes her way back to Hogwarts with her lover and must face her friends and learn how to become a mother on top of her school work. The war is over. Everyone has to retake the previous year at Hogwarts. Hermione Granger is made Head Girl and Draco Malfoy is made Head Boy. Tensions rise between the two. Ron starts acting very different, which takes it's toil on Hermione and Ron's relationship. What could be causing his sudden attitude change? And will things start to darken when Lucius Malfoy gets involved? What will he do? Can Draco and Hermione find happiness together or is it just not meant to be?

The Battle of Hogwarts is over, and Voldemort no longer endangers the Golden Trio. Hermione knew that everything would change drastically after the war, however when she returns to Hogwarts with the second chance of her seventh year, her life turns upside down with a new love interest. Will their relationship withstand the problems that are undoubtedly crashing down on them? However, her twisted love triangle is the least of her problems. Even though the Dark Lord has gone, forces from the dark side still linger and threaten everyone Hermione loves.

The war has concluded, and the Golden Trio and the other students of their year have returned to finish off their years at Hogwarts. The Death Eaters have been imprisoned, and Hogwarts has been repaired. However, the war changed everyone, whether it was a small change or a more evident one. Relationships have been broken, but some have also been formed... Could there finally be a normal year at Hogwarts? Of course not.
