Een normaal meisje genaamd & Elissa (16) wordt op een nacht door een vreemde schaduw die de ramen van haar kamer opengooit en haar plots optilt, meegenomen. De schaduw neemt naar mee naar een onbekend land dat bekend staat als Never Land. Dan wordt de schaduw bekend en blijkt hij Peter Pan te heten. Hij is samen met 5 zogenoemde ‘slimme jongens’ op het grote eiland. Peter Pan was van de plan om een jongen mee te nemen, en had niet door dat dit een meisje was, totdat ze haar cappuchon afdeed. Peter Pan baalt, en heeft geen zin om weer naar de normale wereld te vliegen en een jongen te halen. Dus besluit hij van Elissa een Slimme Jongen te maken. Elissa is bang en durft niet veel, ze was hier niet op voorbereid. Maar Peter Pan gaat haar daar bij helpen. Hij gaat haar helpen op de momenten dat zeemeerminnen jaloers worden, vreemde dieren ze komen lastig vallen en zelfs wanneer Kapitein Haak komt om wraak te nemen op Peter Pan. Maar uiteindelijk is het natuurlijk de taak van Elissa om te overleven op Never Land, want ze kan niet meer terug, tenzij Peter Pan het haar toelaat. Je zou denken dat wanneer Peter Pan gevoelens voor Elissa krijgt, hij haar wilt laten gaan, maar nee. Peter Pan heeft haar nodig en wilt haar het liefst dicht bij zich hebben en is dus van plan haar nooit meer te laten gaan.
