Everyone is now safe home and the events on the island are forgotten. But Jack struggles with regaining self-control. Ralph blames himself for everything that happened in the past and has to find a way to forget it.

The boys finally get off the island and have to learn how to go back to their own lives- easier said than done. With the horrible memories of the island read as Ralph deals with being back with his mother and how he deals with therapy. Will Jack remain the same as he was on the island? Or will he finally break down and realize the severity of his actions on the island? What happens when all the boys are back in therapy together? An epilogue to an amazing book. Lord of the Flies. If you haven't read the book, then most of this might be confusing. Ok well, it's 20 or so years since Ralph has been on the island. He's at a restaurant when suddenly he sees someone very familiar. The epilogue I wrote is kind of short, but it's short because I wrote it for a project in my English class and it had a page limit. Hi everyone! I read the novel "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding about 8 months ago for school, and I absolutely FELL IN LOVE with it!!! So, I have decided to write a sort of.... epilogue... (If that's what you want to call it) for the story. This is pretty much my own idea of what could have happened to the same boys back in England, as World War 2 rages on, after they have been scarred for life by their experiences. If you haven't read "Lord of the Flies" I suggest you do before reading this one. Enjoy!
