In the beginning of her adventure, Pan hinted that she was here for a certain purpose, which she always questioned. Pan never gave her a straight answer though and likes to be on the shady side of things. Cos'è successo nei duecento anni, non descritti nella serie, che ha vissuto Peter su Neverland? Cos'ha tramutato Pan nel mostro che abbiamo conosciuto noi? Cos'ha trasformato il suo cuore in una gabbia oscura di malvagità e perversione? Il punto cruciale di tutta la serie in sè: L'amore. Ho voluto essere comunque obbiettiva; un mostro dentro l'animo del ragazzo immortale già c'era, e più il tempo scorreva è più lui prendeva il sopravvento. Ma quand'è avvenuto il fatidico cambiamento radicale che ha distorto il suo già corrotto essere? Ho voluto fare una rivisitazione di ciò che non ci è stato mostrato in Once upon a time. • Tara è una ragazza che è apparentemente apparsa sull'isola che non c'è dal nulla. Non si ricorda come sia arrivata sull'isola e non ha idea di che posto sia. Non ha idea che si tratti di Neverland, che lei è la prima Salvatrice e che Peter Pan la teme. Lei deve adempiere al suo destino; uccidere l'eterno bambino. Ma si sa, le cose non vanno mai secondo i piani.•

Avevo ancora gli occhi chiusi ma riuscivo a percepire dove mi trovavo. Una foresta. Sentivo l'erba bagnata sotto il mio corpo, il canto degli uccelli e un lieve vento che mi faceva rabbrividire. Aprii gli occhi e sì ero in una foresta, alberi e roccie mi circondavano, ma ero sola. Completamente sola. Non ricordavo praticamente nulla di come fossi arrivata in quel luogo. Mi alzai e cominciai a camminare dritto davanti a me, poco dopo mi ritrovai in una piccola radura. Vidi il cielo azzurro e limpido e cominciai ad osservarmi intorno, è allora che capii dov'ero finita. Avevo visto quel luogo solo nei libri di favole per bambini, senza pensare che potesse esistere realmente e invece ero propio li: sull'isola che non c'è.
