A reader-insert Hobbit fanfiction where the Reader, a beautiful she-dwarf, encounters Thorin's company and embarks on an adventure with them. (This is not a collection of one-shots but a coherent story with multiple endings.)

One of the last of her kind, Nixie, is ruthlessly hunted by orcs, goblins and dark forces alike - fearing for her life, she goes into hiding for many years. Eventually, united by fate a certain Grey Wizard found her, timid and completely isolated from the world. Gandalf the Grey could not believe his eyes at his luck - he had found a water nymph; a creature that would be useful on the Quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain, the last remaining, mighty dwarf kingdom of Erebor. Nixie, however - is not completely convinced at the start. But, then she reluctantly joins the Company of Thorin Oakenshield, a prince without a crown she had heard many stories about - the dwarf lord that had killed the pale orc: Azog the Defiler. As the journey begins, Nixie plays a much larger part in the story than Gandalf had expected - as well as capturing the heart of a King without a crown, nor a Kingdom. Bilbo found her one day wandering in the forests near Old Man willow, Wrapped within He's great branches. at the time he was but 14 and she looked to be 16-19 years old. as they grew up together they became family, only one thing was curious, this little hobbit never aged. she was slimmer than most, fairer than all, and shorter than some. But Bilbo didn't mind Pansy was the only one whom understood his taste in the lands far off. When Gandalf a grey wizard comes to Hobbiton and calls Bilbo out on an adventure. Pansy is caught "evesdropping" what better way to teach the curious little hobbit a lesson than to have her tag along on their great unexpected journey. Along the way Thorin and Kili two of the 13 dwarfs that travel along with them, find that when Concerning Hobbits, the Unexpected is to be expected. "Before you came along we Bagginses were very well thought of."

She was a hobbit that she knew. But she was also half elf and Bilbo's mother and father Bungo and Belladonna took her in when she was just a small girl. ANd she never expected to grow up and fall in love with a dwarf. SHe never expected to go on a journey of such epic proportions that she would fall in love with him. The one true king of Erebor.
