With a lump in my throat, I looked down to place the sticker with my number on my shirt. When I looked back up, I took in the scene before me and nervously gulped. The waiting area was filled to the brim. There were literally no seats left, and so I backed into a corner, leaned my back against the wall and slumped down to the ground. I didn't quite know what to do with myself so I began fidgeting and playing with my thumbs. When I looked back up, I noticed someone staring at me, or rather, at the bottom of my shoe. I raised my eyebrow questioningly, and he began walking towards me. --- When Andrea Flynn first auditioned for The X Factor, she insisted on going alone.
