Tinanong niya ang bata kung saang bahay ito nakatira. Nakita niyang itinuro nito ang malaking bahay. Nakilala niya doon ang ina ng bata at isang lalaking tinawag nitong Beta. Nang masigurong ayos naman na ang bata sa piling ng ina nito, tumalikod na siya para umalis. "Tigil.", ani isang tinig na nakapagpahinto sa kanya.
