Nadia, orphaned by the first Vigilant Men uprising, is taken in by Mr. Lennox, an ominous man with a vision to create the most stunning ballet company in existence. He teaches the already talented girl to dance like an unearthly creature, bestowing upon her almost magical powers of a most breathtaking kind. However, as he builds the famous Lennox Company, the uprising once again stirs the nation, and the opulent ballet finds itself out of place in the new and austere culture of the Vigilant Men. Throughout it all, Nadia falls in love with her partner, Ferdinand, a famous young dancer who awakens her long silent heart. A jealous Lennox, the growing civil unrest, and a nation at war conspire to separate the dancers forever. Nadia must find a strength inside of her to brave her new world and fend for herself against the coming of an uncertain future.

In a Futurist-Victorian London, Ex-Carnie Victor Hart makes his living as a dinner party entertainer and mountebank, using the skills taught to him by his Romani mother – the Patterns. When tragedy strikes a wealthy friend, Victor Hart puts his skills to use in an alternative manner. This Steampunk London has its fair share of psychos, sickos, and sadists, and it takes a special kind of mind to hunt them. Victor sees human behaviour in a way few others can understand but only as an outsider; certain parts of his humanity are missing and that disturbs him. As he solves each seemingly unrelated case, a dark pattern slowly begins to reveal itself threatening the heart of the British Empire and even what we feel makes us human. A Steampunk-detective-noir, darker than most, the first volume features four thrilling cases; the first novel in a Duology.

A second collection of short urban fantasy stories based on a simple idea. What if all is not as it seems in our world? If you like anarchist faeries then this has the story for you. What happens when a pudding is possessed? Who knows what the future will bring? I certainly don't and that's the fun of writing from a one sentence idea. I had to start a second collection since the first was closed for new updates after entering it in the Wattys 2014. I thought I only entered one story but the whole lot went. There's a lesson to us all. Ho hum! If you want to read the story I liked then go to the first Fantasy in the City and check out 7 Tintagel Close.
