Author here, let me provide some insight into where this book is headed. First off, if you didn't read the prequel to this, I suggest you should, a lot more would make sense. Anyway, I'm going to be telling this story from the perspective of Dev, about 10 years into Kaide's prison sentence. After about 4 years though, Dev and his mom moved out of New York, all the way to Ohio; Akron to be exact, to start their new life. So far, he's adjusted to his new life well, he does well in school, and he's a basketball player. But once he gets news that his brother is getting released on good behavior, his whole world will change.

"Broken" is about a girl named Cleo . Cleo has been through so much and she's only 17. Cleo is focused on her future , but she has to try to get there with a dead beat father an a horrible mother . Will she survive .
